How To Apply & Remove Sticky Tabs

Learn how to apply and remove your press-on nails with Sticky Tabs for a quick, mess-free manicure that keeps your nails looking flawless.

- Step 1: Prep Your Natural Nails
  Shape your natural nails with a nail file. Gently push back your cuticles with a wooden stick or cuticle pusher, and carefully remove any excess cuticles if needed. Lightly buff the surface of your nails with a sponge buffer, then clean away dust and oils with a wet wipe to ensure a clean, dry base.
- Step 2: Apply Sticky Tabs
  Wait until your nails are completely dry, then choose the right size Sticky Tab for each nail and apply it to your natural nails. Make sure the Sticky Tab fits well and is slightly smaller than your nail surface for a seamless application.
- Step 3: Enhance the Hold (Optional Tip)
  For better adhesion, gently warm the Sticky Tabs with a hair dryer for a few seconds before applying your press-on nails. The extra warmth helps activate the adhesive for a stronger hold.
- Step 4: Apply Your Press-On Nails
  Place the press-on nail about 2mm away from your cuticle. Apply it at a 45° angle by slowly pushing it toward your cuticle, then press firmly for 10–20 seconds to secure the nail in place.
- Aftercare Tip:
  Avoid contact with water for 2–4 hours after application to allow the Sticky Tabs to fully bond and maximize wear time.
This removal method is only suitable for press-on nails applied with Sticky Tabs.
- Step 1: Soak Your Nails
  Prepare a bowl of warm water and add a small amount of body wash if desired. Soak your fingertips in the water for 10–15 minutes to help loosen the Sticky Tabs.
- Step 2: Gently Remove Your Press-On Nails
  Use a wooden stick or cuticle pusher to gently lift the edges of the press-on nails. Slowly loosen and remove the nails without forcing them to protect your natural nails.
- Step 3: Remove Any Adhesive Residue
  If any Sticky Tab residue remains on your press-on nails or natural nails, gently roll it away with a wooden stick or carefully remove it with tweezers.
- Step 4: Care For Your Nails
  Lightly buff your nails with a sponge buffer and wipe them clean. Apply cuticle oil with the Cuticle Oil Pen to nourish your nails and the surrounding cuticle area.
- Tip:
  Avoid peeling off press-on nails forcefully, as this may damage your natural nails and affect the reusability of your press-ons.

This removal method is only suitable for press-on nails applied with Sticky Tabs or Solid Nail Glue Gel.
- Step 1: Activate the Removal Pen
  Hold the Ersa Removal Pen upside down and press the button at the end of the pen until the removal solution flows into the pen tip.
- Step 2: Apply the Removal Solution
  Apply the removal solution into the gap between the press-on nail and your natural nail. Add the solution along the edges of the nail, including the top, bottom, and both sides. Wait 30–60 seconds to allow the solution to loosen the adhesive.
- Step 3: Gently Lift the Press-On Nail
  Use the tip of the Removal Pen to gently lift the edge of the press-on nail. If the nail does not loosen easily, repeat Step 2 and allow more time for the solution to work. Continue until the press-on nail can be removed effortlessly.
- Step 4: Remove Any Remaining Adhesive
  If adhesive remains on the back of the press-on nail, apply the removal solution between the nail tip and the adhesive layer. Wait 30–60 seconds, then gently remove the softened residue with tweezers.
- Tip:
  Solid Nail Glue Gel may create a stronger bond, so removing leftover adhesive may require extra time and patience. Avoid forcing or pulling the press-on nails off to help protect your natural nails and keep your press-ons reusable.
Sticky Tabs are designed to last 3–7 days with proper application.

Learn how to apply and remove your press-on nails with Solid Nail Glue Gel for a secure, long-lasting manicure with easy application and removal.

- Step 1: Prep Your Natural Nails
  Shape your natural nails with a nail file. Gently push back your cuticles with a wooden stick or cuticle pusher, and carefully remove any excess cuticles if needed. Lightly buff the surface of your nails with a sponge buffer, then clean away dust and oils with a wet wipe to create a clean, dry base.
- Step 2: Apply Solid Nail Glue Gel
  Apply a pea-sized amount of Solid Nail Glue Gel to the back of the press-on nail. Place the press-on nail at the cuticle area and gently slide it toward the tip of your nail to spread the gel evenly and create a strong bond. Apply the nail at a 45° angle, then press firmly to ensure there are no visible gaps between the press-on nail and your natural nail.
- Step 3: Clean Up Excess Gel
  Use a wooden stick or wet wipe to carefully remove any excess gel that squeezes out around the edges of the press-on nail.
- Step 4: Cure With UV Lamp
  Use a handheld UV lamp to cure the gel from multiple angles: the underside of the nail tip, both sides of the nail surface, and the cuticle area. Cure each area for 90–120 seconds to ensure the gel is fully set.
- Tip:
  Make sure the press-on nail is fully aligned and secured before curing. Proper application helps create a smooth finish and longer-lasting wear.

If you don’t have an Ersa Removal Pen, you can use 75%+ alcohol as an alternative removal method. Spray the alcohol around the edges of your press-on nails, then gently lift the edges using a wooden stick or cuticle pusher until the nails loosen.
Please note: Alcohol may cause the back of your press-on nails to turn white, which could affect the appearance of the nails. For the best removal experience and to help keep your press-ons reusable, we recommend using the Ersa Removal Pen.
Solid Nail Glue Gel provides a strong hold when applied correctly, but there are a few important factors that can affect wear time. Please check the following:
1. Your nail color may affect curing.
  If you are using dark-colored press-on nails, the UV light may not fully pass through the nail tip to cure the Solid Nail Glue Gel completely. For darker designs, we recommend using our Ersa Magic Glue instead.
2. Avoid touching the gel during application.
  Touching the gel with your fingers can transfer oils or dust, which may reduce the adhesive strength and affect the bond.
3. Use a handheld UV lamp for proper curing.
  A handheld UV lamp allows the light to get closer to the nail surface and helps the gel fully cure. Regular lamps may not provide enough direct exposure for the best results.
4. Make sure you cure the gel long enough.
  For the strongest hold, cure the gel from each angle for at least 90 seconds, including the nail tip, sides, and cuticle area.
5. Ensure the press-on nail fits your natural nail curve.
  If there is a large gap between the press-on nail and your natural nail, the gel may not bond properly. Before application, soak the press-on nails in warm water for 30–60 seconds, then gently press and adjust the curve of the nail tip to better match your natural nail shape.

Place the press-on nail at a 45° angle, gently pushing it toward your cuticle area to create a seamless fit. If any excess glue squeezes out, immediately wipe it away with a wet wipe. Hold the press-on nail firmly in place for 10–20 seconds to secure the bond.

  Avoid moving the press-on nail after application to allow the glue to fully set and create a stronger hold. Proper nail preparation and application technique will help extend wear time.

  Apply Ersa Magic Glue Remover around the edges of the press-on nail, including the gap between the press-on nail and your natural nail, as well as both sides and the tip. Allow the remover to penetrate between the press-on nail and the adhesive layer for 30–60 seconds.
- Step 2: Gently Remove Your Press-On Nails
  Use a wooden stick or cuticle pusher to gently lift the edges of the press-on nail. If the nail does not loosen easily, repeat Step 1 and allow more time for the remover to work. Continue the process until the press-on nail can be lifted off effortlessly.
